1. Who we are

This website (flowbridgeconsulting.ie) is operated by Flowbridge Consulting Limited ("Flowbridge", "we", "us", "our"), a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland, company number 811226, with its registered office at Office 2, 12A Lower Main Street, Lucan, Co. Dublin, K78 X5P8, Ireland. Flowbridge also trades as Finance Process Hub.

Flowbridge Consulting Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your personal data, you can contact us at info@flowbridgeconsulting.ie or by post at the registered office address above.

3. Information we collect

We collect personal data that you provide to us directly, primarily through the contact form on our Contact page. This may include:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your company name, if provided
  • Any other information you choose to include in your message

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect special category data (such as health or religious information) through this website.

We may also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our website — for example, browser type, device type, and pages visited — via standard web server logs or our hosting provider. See Section 8 (Cookies) for more information.

4. How we use your information

We use the personal data you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and discuss potential consulting, auditing or advisory engagements
  • Maintain records of our communications with you
  • Comply with our legal, tax and regulatory obligations, including those relating to client engagements

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — to respond to enquiries and develop business relationships
  • Contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — where processing is necessary to perform, or take steps to enter into, a contract with you or your organisation
  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — where we must retain records for tax, accounting or other regulatory purposes

6. Sharing your information

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who support our operations, such as website hosting providers and IT or cloud storage providers. These providers act on our instructions and are required to keep your data secure and confidential.

Enquiries submitted through our contact form are sent directly from your own email client to our inbox — no third-party form processor receives your data in the process.

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) unless a service provider we use requires it, in which case we ensure appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — are in place.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Enquiry details are generally retained for up to 24 months unless an engagement proceeds, in which case records may be retained for the period required by applicable Irish tax, company law and professional record-keeping obligations (currently up to 6 years).

8. Cookies

This website currently uses only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage — to record your cookie preference so the cookie banner does not reappear on every visit. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes in future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

Full details of every cookie we use, including purpose and duration, are set out in our Cookie Policy. You can manage or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Manage Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request erasure of your data, where applicable
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@flowbridgeconsulting.ie. We will respond within one month, as required by law.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC), the supervisory authority for data protection in Ireland.

10. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
